My life before coming to Lulama had become unmanageable such that I reached out and sought for Professional help and I thank my higher power for leading me to the doors of Lulama.

Now I am a better father to my children, a better partner, a better son to my parents, a better employee, a better member of the community and most importantly an Alcoholic and an Addict in Recovery.

Lulama I call home (The place where I was born again) . Not knowing what to expect when I entered Lulama for the first time, full of attitude and thought I knew it all. I was taken by the hand and guided for 3 weeks by the most dedicated Social workers. They taught me about life without substances and how to cope on the outside world.

The group sessions taught me that I'm not alone that there are people out there that share the same disease. The one on one sessions helped me to understand what my main problems and how to deal with it.
